The new HDF base by Intasa, developed specifically for our parquets, is the result of over 40 years of experience and research applied to our products. This new base gives our floors a greater stability and durability, preserving the look and properties of fine wood.
The HDF board allows for a more efficient use of energy, for it permits better heat conductivity, it is resistant to humidity, improves and facilitates the joining and assembly of the boards with regards to the chipboard bases, and because of its high density it also muffles the sound of footsteps.
The quality of the HDF base lies in its composition: 100% wood, and in its treatment, with glues the we ourselves manufacture and that are specifically designed for this product. As with the layer of fine wood, the wood used to manufacture the HDF base originates in forests managed under sustainability criteria.
